A significant number of Guineans aware of climate change feel that wealthy nations, largely accountable for the issue, should take immediate action to address these changes and assist Guinea in coping with their effects, as indicated by an Afrobarometer & Stat View International survey. Many respondents report familiarity with climate change, and a substantial portion believes it negatively affects their daily lives, citing human activity as a major contributor. They assert that the government holds the primary responsibility for addressing climate change and must act without delay. In this context, the findings from Afrobarometer & Stat View International survey provide a vital citizen viewpoint in the ongoing discussions about environmental and climate challenges.
Key findings indicate that:

(Figure 2).

(Figure 3).
Most respondents (61%) assert that the government holds the main responsibility for addressing climate change and its effects, with 82% emphasizing the need for urgent action
(Figure 4).
Approximately 90% feel that wealthy nations should take immediate steps to address climate change (85%) and assist Guinea in coping with its effects (87%)
(Figure 5).
